There are several important steps which are involved in the manufacturing process of ASTM A193 b8 class 2 bolts listed sequence wise:
- Selection and cutting of the raw material.
- Hot Forging- in this process the bolt head is structurally deformed by induction heat followed by recrystallisation of the material temperature and then bending the material to obtain the required specific shape and size of A193 GR b8 class 2 eye bolt.
- Annealing- the material is then annealed for achieving uniformity to provide in machining.
Surface finishing- this method involves cleaning and annealing of the bolts in a shot blasting machine to prove a smooth surface of A193 b8 cl2 heavy hex bolts without any burr and scaling. - Thread rolling- in this technique the threads are cold formed and it is done by using two dies. One is stationary and the another one is a moving die which impose pressure on the bolts.
- Heat treatment- this process is used to make the bolts hardened and stronger. In this method the bolts are hardened in agas carburizing furnace at a temperature range of 850-9000C followed by the quenching of A193 GR B8 class 2 carriage bolts in the cooling media.
- Phosphating- it is a surface treatment enhance the performance and provides aesthetic appeal to the material.
- Machining- this is the final step in which surface residue is removed and provide even surface and durability to the bolts and corrosion resistance property.
These all-manufacturing steps provide strong mechanical properties to the A193 GR b8 class 2 anchor bolts.
ASME SA 193 b8 cl 2 hex bolts and B8SH studs manufacturer in India
There are several industrial advantages of using SA 193 b8 cl 2 hex bolts in high temperature environment conditions:
The bolts are designed with strong heat tolerance applications which makes them suitable to be used in high temperature conditions.
These bolts have strong tensile strength and are capable of handling high pressure and heavy loads even at elevated temperatures without getting deformed.
The bolts successfully maintain their mechanical properties at high temperatures hence are extensively utilized in pressure vessel, piping, construction and engineering industries.
Display excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance even at harsh environment condition with high temperatures.
We are a professional supplier of A193 grade b8 class 2 threaded rod and socket head cap screws with hydrostatic testing
Hydrostatic testing is an industrial standard testing which is used to check the performance of the B8SH Studs against high pressure application and improves the integrity and reliability of the material.
This testing involves filling the material with water and then pressurizing it to check for its strength and leakage.
This method is very important to ensure quality of material against high pressure application and to make sure the materials are industrially ready in hydraulic systems or pipe and handle heavy loads.
