This high-performance material –nickel, chromium, and iron alloy – lends itself to critical industrial applications. Inconel 600 fasteners are available in different types. Our inventory includes hex bolts, washers, screws, studs, and threaded rods. Customers can also order dowel pins and socket head cap screws.
Our rich collection of Inconel 6600 screws contains fasteners from 3 mm to 200 mm. Standard sizes range from 3/6 to 2 inches, but we easily accommodate custom items by state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and machining facilities.
Genuine alloy 600 bolts and nuts manufacturer in India as per ASTM B166
This nickel-based alloy operates in aerospace, automotive, and chemical processing industries. The standout strengths of Inconel 600 bolts are corrosion resistance and tolerance for drastic temperatures (up to 2000 °F).
However, a potential disadvantage is the high cost compared to many other alternatives. They can be hard to machine and display a high coefficient of expansion. Machining difficulties can cause tool failure and sparks in the workplace – a potential hazard.
Additionally, although corrosion endurance of an Inconel Alloy 600 stud is top-notch, specialty chemicals and hot aqueous solutions damage its performance. Prolonged vibration is another potential concern you should watch against.

Alloy 600 hex bolts
High tensile strength and resistance to creep and rupture are distinctive characteristics of Alloy 600 hex bolts. Appropriate quality control measures and testing are essential to deem them safe for critical industries like aerospace.
Ultrasonic testing is a non-destructive approach to diagnose defects in hex bolts and an Inconel 600 socket head cap screw. Manufacturers may also perform tests for stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and rupture disk corrosion (RDCT).
The mill test report contains the results of routine examinations conducted on Inconel 600 stud bolts, including radiography, spectrography, flattening, tensile strength assessment, and pitting resistance.
As a trusted stockist we offer, ASTM B166 WNR 2.4816 hex bolts and screws in all metric sizes including M2 to M36

These rods deliver an effective solution to join components; the threads permit the bolts to get fastened. Inconel 600 threaded rod is suitable for diverse needs in construction. Threading creates tightening action via rotational motion. These products are also used for structural stability and can be used with versatile materials without incompatibilities.
Excellent tolerance to high temperatures and resistance to corrosive agents make these products highly coveted. Here are the top applications of ASTM B166 Inconel 600 nuts:
- Nuclear reactors and vessels
- Aerospace, for jet engines and airframe parts
- Used to make equipment for pollution management
- Oil and gas production
- Automobile sectors (bodies, trailers) and aircraft
- Marine applications, for e.g., propulsion motors, propellers, and even communication systems
- Incinerators for waste processing and treating (nuclear waste reprocessing also)
A protective coating for these fasteners cuts the risks of corrosion, lubricates the thread, and also improves the surface finish. As a thumb rule, higher tensile products may get only oil quenched (self-colour). But lower tensile UNS N06600 washers normally receive a coating. The manufacturer can perform it by several methods: a dip, spray, or electroplating.
A fabulous method of corrosion protection is electroplating with zinc. You may also use a yellow zinc coat (chromate after zinc plating) for humid conditions. Black chrome passivation, a zinc-cobalt coat, tin plating, and PTFE coatings are also effective. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene or Teflon) uses fluoropolymers to resist abrasive agents successfully.
Another sensible approach for Inconel 600 dowel pins – precise and effective fasteners – is anodising. This electrochemical process forms a thick oxide layer on the surface, protecting against future corrosion. A grey phosphate coating and electro galvanising are not suitable for marine environments.
