Characteristics of Inconel 625 Flanges
The Inconel 625 is an austenitic nickel, chromium, and molybdenum alloy. These flanges have outstanding corrosion resistance properties. They have outstanding strength and work in cryogenic temperatures up to 982 degrees C. The solid solution hardened grade is tolerant to oxidation and can be used to combine different piping equipment. The flanges resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular corrosion. The 625 flanges are immune against stress corrosion cracking and have good thermal fatigue strength. These flanges showcase excellent tensile and yield strength with enhanced thermal conductivity. They can be readily welded and can be subsequently processed following shop fabrication processes.
