How Do You Calculate Equivalent Length Of Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings

The equivalent length method allows a user to characterize the pressure drop through a fitting with the length of the pipe. The equivalent length of the Inconel 625 pipe fittings can be calculated using this formula= Le/D x inside diameter. E.g Le/D of a fitting is 320 with its inside diameter being 0.172 ft. The equivalent length will be 320 x 0.172= 55ft.
